東奧正名影響參賽權？ 運動員盼能參賽
雅加達巨港亞運落幕，中華代表團成績亮眼，選手們也開始為東京奧運做準備。不過民間團體發起東京奧運正名公投，體壇擔憂恐會讓未來國際體育賽事的參賽權遭到更大挑戰。對此，體操教練林育信今天(4日)受訪時表示，若因正名問題而不能參賽確實會覺得可惜，畢竟選手奮鬥了很久了，當然希望能代表台灣出賽，但加強訓練比較重要，其餘的就看政府如何引導。
2018亞運落幕，中華代表團拿下17金、19銀、31銅的亮眼佳績，蔡英文總統4日早上在總統府大禮堂接見亞運代表團成員後，隨後又轉往立法院接受立法院長蘇嘉全的接見恭賀。
而針對東京奧運台灣正名行動小組等團體發動東奧正名公投，若2020東京奧運以「台灣」名義參賽，有體育界人士擔心屆時可能無法參加東京奧運，未來國際體育賽事的參賽權遭到更大挑戰。
對此，體操教練林育信受訪時指出，若不能參加奧運確實會令人感到可惜，仍期盼在國際大賽中展現自己的能力，但做好教練及選手的本分更重要。林育信說：『(原音)其他的就由政府跟台灣人民如何引導，我們還是堅持在這個方向，當然我們還是希望代表台灣出賽，但有限於一些規定，我們還是在訓練上加強比較重要，畢竟還有很多比賽、國際大賽來展現台灣的能力，我們還是加強自己，把自己練好。』
而這次在亞運中戰績輝煌的龍舟隊在接見會場也瞬間成為焦點，面對東奧正名公投的問題，龍舟隊選手周恩平說，因龍舟是較為冷門的項目，目前還在爭取列為2020東奧的項目之一。
體育署在這次亞運中也首次以專機載送選手，期望提供給選手更完整的照顧，舉重選手郭幸淳受訪時特別感謝政府的安排，也希望有了這次亞運的經驗後，能讓未來的2020東奧及2022杭州亞運表現越來越好。
