The Britax Römer i-Size Flex Base provides a safe and ergonomic recline position for your child. The Flex Base is to be connected to the Isofix anchor points of your car by using the Isofix hooks. After that, you simply need to click the infant car seat onto the base and you are ready to go. With only a flick of the wrist on the back of the infant car seat makes releasing it even simpler. The inclination of the Flex Base can be adjusted in four different levels and ensures a flatter position of the infant car seat even in case of more inclined seats in your car.

At the beginning, the neck muscles of newborn babies is not yet fully developed which is why your child should preferably lie in a flat position. The patented technology by Britax Römer ensures such a position. Adjusting the recline position is very simple - when you adjust the height of the headrest, the recline position adapts accordingly. The built-in newborn insert with shock-absorbing foam padding provides extra support and additional protection.

「三手菸」害毛小孩貓罹癌率增3倍

（優活健康網新聞部／綜合報導）您是否有過走進電梯、包廂內，明明沒人也沒有菸霧瀰漫，卻聞到菸味久久不散的經驗？這就是「三手菸」。不只一手菸、二手菸會對健康造成傷害，吸完菸後，殘留在環境中的有害物質，也會對生活在同樣環境與空間裡的人有所影響。

尼古丁附著家具上結合空氣產生致癌物

衛生福利部國民健康署表示，癮君子吸菸後產生的「煙味」，其實是煙霧中有害物質不斷釋放到空氣中。尼古丁會黏附在家具、牆壁、地毯等物品上，和空氣中的臭氧、亞硝酸行化學反應後產生致癌物質，更會附著在皮膚、毛髮等表面。國民健康署署長王英偉表示，寵物無意識舔咬中接觸到三手菸，通過口、舌、鼻和呼吸系統，潛伏在人和寵物身體，造成傷害。

貓咪理毛吃進三手菸提高口腔癌、淋巴癌風險

中華民國獸醫師公會全國聯合會理事長陳培中指出，已經有呼吸道問題的狗，吸入菸煙會使牠們的病情和咳嗽的情形變更嚴重，且暴露於高濃度二、三手菸環境（家中15坪且每日吸超過1包菸）的寵物狗，異位性皮膚炎的風險是家中沒人吸菸的4倍以上。

貓咪因為愛整潔的天性，使菸煙危害更大，貓咪理毛時吃進附著於毛上的三手菸，發生口腔癌及淋巴癌的風險提高2至3倍以上，就算有接受化學治療、放射性治療或手術等治療，罹病後多數貓咪壽命活不超過1年。

電子煙煙彈尼古丁含量高貓狗誤食易中毒

聽到這些吸菸的壞處後，你可能會認為使用電子煙等產品對寵物來說是安全的，其實不然。多數電子煙都含超過常規濃度的尼古丁或其他有毒化學物質，例如甲醛（福馬林），且電子煙的爆炸對寵物也是一個新的風險。

電子煙煙彈中含有尼古丁，寵物有可能會因為咬破煙彈而誤食高濃度的尼古丁，對寵物來說尼古丁的毒性十分高，根據報告指出，對於貓或狗的致死量約為20至100毫克，而每1毫升電子煙的煙彈多數含3至24毫克不等的尼古丁、1支菸通常含9至30毫克的尼古丁，甚至連菸蒂都含有5至7毫克的尼古丁，而且尼古丁中毒後也沒有「解毒劑」。

戒菸為毛小孩著想贏回健康

由於寵物沒辦法選擇自己的主人及其生活環境，而且並沒有安全的二、三手菸暴露濃度，歡迎有心戒菸的癮君子們善用國民健康署免付費戒菸專線0800-636363、全國4千多家戒菸合約醫事機構（醫院診所及藥局）的戒菸服務，或洽各地衛生局所，透過專業、安全又有效的方法戒菸，除了為毛小孩及家人著想，也為自己贏回健康的主導權。
